Sequencing Batch Reactor Activated Sludge Process(SBR)

      Principle:The operation type of time division instead of space division, non-stable biological reaction instead of stable biological reaction and static ideal settlement instead of traditional dynamic settlement are adopted in SBR technology. Its main feature is the sequence and intermittence in operation. The core process in SBR technology is the SBR reaction tank that integrates the functions of equalization, primary settling, biological degradation and second settling. There is no sludge return system.

      Advantages:The operation is stable. The sewage settles in an ideal static state, requiring less time, producing better water quality with better efficiency. The system allows more loads and the remaining treated water in the tank can dilute and soften the splash of sewage and organic filth. Aerobic, anoxic and anaerobic working states work in turn, resulting excellent effects in de-nitrogen and dephosphorization. The process is simple, cost-effective, economical in land use, requires no second settling silo and sludge return system.

      Field of Application:Treatment of industrial waster water and domestic sewage and expansion and reconstruction of waste water treatment plants, especially for intermittent emission and variable water flows. Projects that requires quality water flows, such as tourist sites, lakes, ports, etc. where organic substances need to be removed, de-nitrogen and dephosphorization are required to prevent the waters from eutrophication.
